The Baseus Charging Station 100W is a unique entry in the world of travel chargers, offering a blend of functionality that's both impressive and slightly perplexing. In its "default" orientation, this charger is a bonafide beast, easily pumping out enough juice to charge my 90-watt computer battery. While I haven't pushed it to its limits, the quoted 100W maximum output seems to be a fair claim.
The front of the device sports four USB ports, which are conveniently placed for charging multiple devices on a bathroom counter or while sitting on a train. However, I do wish the distribution was more balanced - 2 USB-C and 2 USB-A ports would have been more versatile than the current 3 USB-C and 1 USB-A setup. Despite this minor gripe, it's a powerful and convenient block that I'll definitely be taking with me on future travels.
When it comes to portability, there's room for improvement. The cable connecting it to an outlet is quite thick and not particularly easy to fit in a small space. That said, the overall size of the unit is still compact enough to slip into most backpacks without much fuss.
Now, let's address the elephant in the room - the "detachable" USB brick feature. In its compact mode, you're left with 2 power outlets but lose all the USB charging capabilities. This essentially means you've gone from one wall outlet to two outlets, which seems like a somewhat niche use case. While I won't knock a star off for being TOO functional, I'm not entirely convinced of the necessity of this feature.
Despite this quirk, my overall opinion of the Baseus Charging Station is positive. It's a very good option for powering multiple electronics, especially when traveling. The versatility and power output are impressive, even if not every feature feels essential. If you're in the market for a robust travel charger and don't mind a bit of extra functionality, this Baseus offering is definitely worth considering.

Seems to meet the listed specification
If you test 1 USB-C at a time they all report 100w. As you load them, they report lower ratings with priority given to port 1. The USB-A only appears to support 5v, none of the quick charging specs. The build quality feels good. The connection between the charger and power cord doesn't latch with more than the friction of just the plug.
