I love this mic! It's reliable, sounds great and works perfectly when I'm singing or residents in healthcare facilities.
Previously I bought one that used batteries but number of times the microphone stopped working in the middle of a song even thought the batteries hadn't been used much.

Fantastic Product for the price
If anyone is in the market for an affordable lapel, the PDP-1-1B from Phenyx Pro is a great option! From the packaging to the design and quick connectivity, this unit would certainly be a great addition to your gear. Both the portable receiver and bodypack are rechargeable and come equipped with 1500mAh battery capacity and the connection process was quick and easy. On my initial test run of the unit, I ran it for a continuous 3 hr. period with zero issues. This is a great option for a remote ceremony setup or a small venue where you want to minimize how much gear you are hauling.My only cons or concerns with the PDP-1-B, and to be clear, these are just a personal preference and should not take anything away from the great construction and quick and easy connectivity. That said, I feel the sound quality and range of the microphone could be improved upon. And the only connection option is a 3-pin XLR jack which greatly limits your flexibility to upgrade or change the microphone.

The Phenyx Pro PDP line of products continues to impress me. These simple easy to use micro phones work great for the Mobile DJ. Whether you’re using them for weddings, karaoke or a party, they work great. The PDP-1-1B is fantastic for mic-ing an officiant at a wedding or a DJ that needs to be hands free with the option of a lapel mic or over the ear headset mic. The range has been around 200 ft with no dropouts. I really enjoy the simplicity of the PDP line. Whether you are using a mixer or a powered speaker, you just plug in the receiver and power the unit on and you are ready to go!
Phenyx Pro is building great products that rival the more expensive name brand at a much more affordable price. I highly recommend these products.
