The Build quality is good, the Power Delivery is accurate. I charged a Laptop, Drone, Steam deck, and my phone to determine how versatile that 100w was. Power management is handled by your PD charger anyway. It works excellent! It can be used for Data too. You're not going to get Thunderbolt performance, but data speeds on transfering large Video files was real good! I certainly recommend this cable. Baseus has my seal of approval on this one 👍

It's basic, but it's well made and solid compared to alot of other similar products. As a tip I suggest you stick some Velcro or a hook to it so that it's more easily organized , it's smooth and small nature makes it roll all over the place in bags etc. if you want a retractable and your okay with the cable specs , this is the brand you buy from for reliability and quality.

I was so annoyed at all the charging cables I have all over. I was telling a friend that I wish they made retractable ones. She said they probably do, check Amazon! I found this one and thought I'd give it a try. Plus I really like the purple color. I've bought other cables before that said they were super fast charging and they were not. Baseus just keeps building products I actually need.

Retraction is smooth, cable is solidly built (somewhat thinner than I might like but some compromises have to be made to fit on a spindle, I get it), length is _slightly_ shorter than I would want but realistically this cable is meant to go from a battery in your bag to your device, not from a wall socket to your chair. You end up with a lot of the benefits of a tethered cable solution without the downside of a non-replaceable cable.

Ultimately this is another excellent product for travelers - if you're not frequently disconnecting and reconnecting this cable, you probably want something else, but if you're a road warrior like me you'll want one in every bag.

So it is compact. It's maybe a tad short for a lot of applications, particularly since it unspools from BOTH SIDES so unless you want a heavy weight dangling from charger and usb-port, you only really get half the length. if it's going to be sitting on a table this could work for you, I suppose. Also, it will work with wall chargers, but NOT with any portable battery, no matter how large. Cannot recommend this for these reasons. IT was a wast eof money for me.
