If like me you loved playing the original Alone in the Dark game back in 92 you will love this. The graphics are amazing and the environment is beautifully created. The game still gives you that that sense of uneasiness you got with the original game. Ignore the haters, people are never satisfied no matter what these days.

While the game has a few surprising moments I wouldn't call it overly scary. The combat is as we've come to know with most 3rd person shooters these days, it can however feel a bit clunky.

The characters are interesting at best and annoying at worst. However Carnby is easily the best character.

All in all it is a fun experience. Just wish it were a little longer. Of possibility of something else to come later for this title.

I am writing a review based on my own experience. So take it as you read. I will say the story and design of the game is very nice. It is over shadowed by the bugs in this game. I had this game for the days now and I cannot get past chapter 2. I have experience audio issue where the game got silent and when you follow the advise of uninstall and reinstall my character dies on every single save file. Not only that there is a segment in chapter one were you are teleport to the dark misty side you are given three sets of keys they open three area. You can have a moment where you would accidentally open the same door twice without noticing. This would cause you to not be able to progress the story. After getting passes the mist in chapter two and returning to the hospital I was able to get the double barrel shotgun (you need to collect three time to unlock) I saved the game and when I reloaded. I lost all three items and the shotgun and I am unable to retrieve them. This game could have been good at this moment give it 6 month to a year before buying.

Was looking forward to this game qs I do love my horror games and it's been years since I played a alone in the dark game. The graphics were not to bad and the game play was OK even tho qt times it felt like you were playing a ps3 game with its slow and at times bad hand to hand combat and gunplay as well. Sometime not even hitting the monster when there right next to you. Could be a pain as well getting stuck on things like chairs or even flower pots that make you characters stay and no way to get out unless you restart the chapter or last save was a pain as well. Store was OK. Nothing amazing tho. Shame as Wass looking forward to this game and helpfully many more alone in the dark games to come back

La oportunidad de regreso a esta saga clásica de terror. La ambientación es muy buena y la banda sonora te mete muy bien en el ambiente de la época que está ambientado, el control un poco tosco sobre todo en combate y algun fallo puntual . Aún así es un buen juego.
