Brilliant game with dark chilling story. Gameplay mechanic for fishing has a fun loop leaving you always wanting to just have one more go. Perfect for short bursts and can easily spend hours with it. Love the art style looks great on the switch runs really well in docked and handheld on my day one original switch.

The delivery was free, it arrived next day, and the product was in perfect condition. The game is brilliant. The the art style is lovely and serene, yet creepy. The music is tense, and the atmosphere is fed with optional bits of info tucked away. The mechanics are in depth and tactile, the fish 'aberration' designs are cool, and the big-bad fish things had me jumping more than once. I am hooked (pun Intended). 10/10 for me.

The ONLY downside (and the reason this isn't 5 star) is the 'deluxe' edition. The DLC which comes with the game is 2 items: a small engine for your boat which quickly becomes redundant, and a 'sign of ruin' which I am yet to see do anything other than occupy space. The art 'book' is very small, serving as more of a leaflet advertisement. It comes with a 'poster' about the length of an A5, but thinner, so it's almost more of a postcard. The soundtrack is a download code which I had assumed was a CD (maybe that's me being old fashioned). There is a sticker set which is nice but nothing to write home about. All this slots inside the game case, so there's no little extra display box which I have seen in other games. Of course, I'm aware it's an Indie company, so producing large amounts of quality products for your game is a unrealistic, but don't call it deluxe when it fits in the original game case and is all printed on the same glossy paper used to print normal game manuals.

I bought this for my 9yo but secretly as I love games like the ones I used to play, simple but engaging and addictive which are easy to pick up but pull you in - its a winner, only a week in and its proving to be lots of fun - delux pack includes stickers which are now all over his switch 😃

Amazon are always recommending Nintendo Switch games for me & they're never my style, genre of game at all I know this as I always take a transient peek but this 'Dredge' I actually read up about it as it caught my attention & the more I read the more & more interested I got, I ended up buying it there & then as there's nothing like it on the Switch & it was a good buy, it's the 'Deluxe Edition' with added Sticker Sheet, a Dredge Poster, The Art Of Dredge Book & the Blackstone Key download code, it weren't really expensive too in- fact it has a good price tag on it!

So in all honesty here I started to play it & the games got atmosphere & I was happily getting to grips with it, the controls, etc when 'Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom' which I pre-ordered elsewhere on the 1st of March turned up & being a life long Zelda fan this was put aside BUT I know when I've finished 'Zelda' I'm going to restart this 'Dredge' without doubt, I like the graphics, the idea behind the game, again the atmosphere the sounds & music it has & it seems like it's going to be a good lengthy play.

I've got loads of Nintendo Switch games downloaded from the eShop & many unplayed cartridge games but this 'Dredge' is what I'll be going back to next 100% & it was a brilliant Amazon recommendation.
