• ACL does not provide services or funding directly to individuals. If you are looking for individual help for yourself or a loved one, we can only refer you to local organizations that may be able to help. You can find the same information much more quickly by visiting the “Get Help” section of our website.  (Requests for direct financial assistance may be deleted without response.)
• ACL does not have the authority to investigate suspected abuse or neglect or report it on your behalf. If you have been the victim of abuse, exploitation, or neglect – or you suspect someone else is being abused, exploited or neglected – help is available, but you must report the situation to your local authorities. Please call the police or 911 immediately if you suspect immediate, life-threatening danger.
