The following is considered comics canon only and may contradict Andrzej Sapkowski's works.

Yennefer[N 1] was a woman from the Japanese-inspired land, the partner of the ronin/witcher Geralt, and the mother of Ciri.[1]

Biography[]

After Ciri was kidnapped by the Hyakki Yagyō, the ghastly retinue led by Eredin Bréacc Glas, Yennefer and Geralt followed their trail. Eventually, after some searching, Geralt returned to the village near Mount Kaijinzan where she was staying and told her Ciri was past the Golden Bridge. The two both agreed to go there together.[1]

Notes[]

  • She is never referred to as Yennefer in the comic, however because of every other character looking and being named the same as the canon stories, and her looking identical to her model in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it can be assumed she shares the trend of keeping the same name.
    • It is unknown if she is a sorceress like the canon stories, though with Geralt using Signs still, and magic existing in this land, it isn't improbable.

Footnotes[]

  1. Her name is simply Yennefer in this universe, as there exists no "of Vengerberg" to hail from.
