The War of the Two Unicorns was a particularly bloody conflict fought from 1309 to 1318 between unknown combatants. They could be two scions of the Unicorn dynasty in Kaedwen because the unicorn was its emblem.
Centuries later, it was mentioned in the Encyclopaedia Maxima Mundi as having been prophesied by Ithlinne, a legendary Aen Seidhe seeress who lived years before it happened.[1]

- In Polish, the Wars of the Roses are referred to as the War of the Two Roses. The war could thus be an allusion to the real conflict.
