Sorel was in charge of the witcher training at Kaer Morhen when Geralt was there. He was part of the witcher council, too, and the one to voice verdicts.[1]

- While he appeared only in the Polish TV series The Hexer, Sorel is also mentioned by Vesemir in Netflix's The Witcher as one of the deceased witchers, alongside Gascaden, another character created from the Polish series.
- The actor portraying Sorel, Mirosław Zbrojewicz, also voices several characters such as Letho in the Polish editions of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Gwent: The Witcher Card Game.
