Phelippe Calagrande was a professional criminal living in Oxenfurt around 1272.
Biography[]
While hanging out in The Alchemy, he boasted about how he knew the sewers well. This, combined with his ability to speak some Ofieri, causes the visiting Ofieri mage Aamad and his crew to seek out Phelippe's services as they had come to lift the curse off their prince and take him back home. Serving as their guide, he proceeded to show them the way to the toad monster's lair in the sewers but just as they arrived, the witcher Geralt slew the toad, not realizing it'd been a cursed man, before Geralt passed out from the toxic venom. Phelippe was then captured along with the witcher by Aamad, who viewed both of them responsible for the prince's death and, as their prince was now dead, he could at least bring the two to his king to save his honor.
In a cell on the Ofieri ship, the Albatross, Geralt finally woke up and Phelippe explained the situation of how they both came to be there. However, one of the warriors demanded the pair to be quiet and realizing the futility of the situation, Phelippe went and laid down for a nap. After he did, Master Mirror visited and struck a deal with Geralt and caused a storm to crash the ship, freeing Geralt. However, Phelippe wasn't so lucky and ended up drowning. His body was then beheaded by the Ofieri warriors as proof that one of the men responsible for their prince's death was now dead.
