Paco Barbloes was a nomadic mage likely hailing from outside the Northern Kingdoms that lived in the 13th century.[1]
Biography[]
Whilst travelling through an unknown isle of Skellige, he happened upon the witcher Geralt of Rivia, a local woman Jula, her mother, and her warrior companion, all arguing over the morality and decision to kill the timid nekker also present. As Paco wished to obtain the creature's liver due to its psychoactive properties, he offered to commit the deed, though Geralt stood to protect it and Jula wanted it dead at her hand, so they all got locked into a standoff. This was broken moments later when the pig being held by the nekker suddenly squealed, causing Jula's companion to fire a crossbow bolt clean through Paco's throat, who, as he fell backward to the ground, responded with a fireball that hit and exploded Jula's head.[1]
