Nilfgaardian lemon is considered an alchemy ingredient in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and thus can't be consumed like regular drinks. It's needed to craft alcohest.

One bottle is received during the main quest Lilac and Gooseberries, when Geralt talks with Gaunter O'Dimm at the White Orchard inn. It can also be found as random loot, guaranteed in many places in Toussaint, or purchased from the following merchants:

Notes[]

  • Innkeeps in Skellige sell alcohol at the cheapest prices, but there's one exception in the Blood and Wine expansion: Hugo Monnart who buys and sells everything at base item values. Prices listed in the infobox don't include him.
  • Similarly to the roasted chicken leg, there is an unsellable version of this item (ID: Free nilfgaardian lemon), originally intended to be received from Gaunter O'Dimm. This version also shows as having 10s potion duration, indicating that Nilfgaardian lemon was also initially intended as a regular alcoholic drink. However, it only exists in the game files, likely for practical reasons as nothing can be done with it.
