The Nilfgaardian or Imperial Military Intelligence is the Nilfgaardian Empire's intelligence agency but, despite being the largest country on the continent, it's only the second-largest intelligence agency next to the renowned and efficient Redanian Secret Service.
Nilfgaardian spies are trained from childhood and face constant indoctrination. They would sacrifice and do anything for the emperor.
The Service is engaged in more than just military intelligence, and was particularly active during the Northern Wars. Emhyr also assigned his intelligence service to search for Ciri and later for the traitor, Vilgefortz of Roggeveen.
Spymaster Vattier de Rideaux and his network of agents were handed a crushing defeat which was orchestrated by Sigismund Dijkstra at the beginning of the Second Northern War with Nilfgaard.
