Marquard (d. July 1267) was an experienced mage from Skellige.[1]

At the end of June 1267, he was invited to the Grand Mage's Conclave between the Council and Chapter of the Brotherhood of Sorcerers. The following morning, on July 1st, he was caught in the middle of the fighting between the Nilfgaardian and Northern supporters, and was killed in Garstang after Scoia'tael were let into the palace. At the time of his death, he was the only Islander who could match the likes of Yennefer.[2][1]
