She was the unnamed daughter of the tax collector of Novigrad, Joachim Schwann, and his wife Lady Schwann.[1]
Biography[]
After Joachim's death, she began a line of promiscuity and so her mother paid a mage to cast a spell that would teach her to save it for marriage: anyone she kissed would be transformed into a frog.
In 1272, after folk spread word of a monster transforming noblewomen into frogs around the city due to her curse, the witcher Geralt of Rivia found one of the hybrid frog-men Joachim's daughter had tricked, kissed and transformed in the sewers. The witcher fought the creature, who told him Schwann's daughter was the actual one with the curse, and so Geralt confronted the mother and daughter and convinced them to reconcile and reenlist the mage's help in removing the curse.[1]
