Fauve was a dryad from the Brokilon forest.[1]
Biography[]
In July 1267, while patrolling the western borders near the Ribbon river, she found the bard Dandelion riding into Brokilon. She asked him to continue his ballad Elaine Ettariel; and enjoying his music, chose to lead him to his wounded friend Geralt of Rivia, whom she had been helping heal in Col Serrai with Aglaïs and Sirssa.[2] After attempting a conversation with Dandelion's poor Elder Speech, she inspected his new lute and then left the two to reunite.[1]
Later she met them again, and while they began to converse, several injured Scoia'tael broke through the tree line. The dryads and Geralt went to help them, and so Fauve then left Dandelion to return to her post.[1]
Appearance and personality[]
She wore a garland on her brow, with long, almost moss-green hair. Her fine-featured face was almost always crossed diagonally by two parallel dark stripes of painted camouflage.[1]
