The Dyfne, or Dyphne, is a river in Aedirn located about three days' walk from the border with Kaedwen. The river originates in the Blue Mountains and flows westward dividing Lormark with Lower Aedirn and Dol Blathanna, until it ultimately joins the Pontar. Gulet is located south of the Dyfne.[1]

History[]

After the breakout of the Second Northern War in early July 1267, it was on a bridge over the Dyfne that Margrave Mansfeld of Ard Carraigh and Field marshal Menno Coehoorn of Nilfgaard embraced and shook hands, securing Kaedwen's brief allegiance to the empire.[1]
