Baldwin of Gulet was the son of King Demavend III of Aedirn and Demaretta of Gulet.
He was born in 1267, during the first battle of Aldersberg, when his father Demavend III and Queen Meve of Lyria and Rivia were defending the city from Nilfgaardian soldiers. After Baldwin was born, the city was evacuated and later burned to the ground by Imperial soldiers.[1]
