Audegast was a Nilfgaardian bailiff and along with Marder and Evan Helvet, worked for Peter Evertsen, chief chamberlain of the Imperial Army.[1]
Biography[]
In mid July 1267, while meeting with Evertsen, he along with Marder, and Helvet, were instructed to begin a campaign to raze Lyria, Rivia and Aedirn. Their task: pillage anything of value for the Empire, and destroy anything left. Audegast was put in charge of loading and transporting all harvested and stored crops that had been pillaged, and not destroyed by Menno Coehoorn's men. He was given an assortment of slaves to assist him and they set off north.[1]
