Adriana was a prostitute who lived in the village of Neisse during the 13th century.[1]
Biography[]
At some point soon after moving to the village, she was instructed by Abogard to be a concubine to the witcher Geralt of Rivia during his visit to Neisse. At the local inn on the night of his rescue of the lord's daughter Giltine, she visited the witcher and made advances on him, though these were quickly turned down and instead Geralt gave her a sack of coins to keep her out of the profession. As he asked about a lamia haunting the village, she became possessed by the creature and said her goodbyes before stating the witcher would have insomnia from the guilt of "helping Agobard bury the truth"; this being the last clue he needed to investigate further.[1]
