What makes Webflow different

Built on shared behaviors, innovation, and impact, what makes Webflow special comes from everyone who helps build it.

How it started

Webflow started in 2012 with the idea that everyone should be able to create for the web without knowing how to write code. After one rejection (plus another almost rejection) from the startup accelerator Y Combinator, Webflow officially took off in 2013.

How it’s going

Now, we not only have the Webflow product — a visual development platform that allows you to build with the full power of code, without writing it — but we also have a thriving worldwide community. Since the beginning, Webflow users have come together for idea sharing, support, and to build their careers alongside each other.

More than a website builder, Webflow empowers freelancers, agencies, and businesses of all sizes to create powerful, stunning web experiences in a visual-first canvas.

Why our team
loves Webflow

Lauren Samuel
Business Recruiting
"Remote-first allows for more time for the things that matter to employees. Not commuting to an office (unless you count walking to the spare room I work in) leaves so much time for things that fulfill my life outside of work, which then fuels the way I show up to work. Taking a quick break to get some fresh air or having the flexibility to take my kids to school means that I can be present in the ways I want to be for both the people I care about AND for a job I really love."
Henry Lee
Technical Support Specialist
"The business is very strong and growing in an exciting direction. It gives me great confidence in the utility and value of our product. The culture at Webflow is almost uniquely friendly among the industry. I’ve consistently watched decisions made by leadership that centre compassion and care for employees — this is deeply valuable and the mindset seems to trickle down to departments and daily culture at large."

Core values behaviors

Webflow has been behavior-driven from our beginning. We believe in turning values into actions by centering everything we do around our four core behaviors.

Obsess over customer experience

We deeply understand what we’re building and who we’re building for and serving. We define the leading edge of what’s possible in our industry and deliver the future for our customers.
Core Behavior Award Winner
Dylan Garcia
Staff Software Engineer
“Dylan deeply understands what we’re building and who we’re building for. He goes above and beyond what’s expected, jumping in to help with customer issues and feedback, and he smashes bugs with empathy for our customers and the team supporting them.”

— Vlad Magdalin, Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer

Move with heartfelt urgency

We have a healthy relationship with impatience, channeling it thoughtfully to show up better and faster for our customers and for each other. Time is the most limited thing we have, and we make the most of every moment.
Core Behavior Award Winner
Josh Warry
Senior Technical Support Specialist
“Josh knows how to strike the balance of moving swiftly and approaching obstacles in a curious and thoughtful way. His team and stakeholders praise his ability to quickly spot trends, manage incidents, and keep stakeholders aligned.”

— Sergie Magdalin, Co-founder & Design Fellow

Say the hard thing with care

Our best work often comes from intelligent debate, critique, and even difficult conversations. We speak our minds and don’t sugarcoat things — and we do so with respect, maturity, and care.
Core Behavior Award Winner
Greg Kelly
Senior Business Development Manager
“Greg is a super-communicator and is the superglue of our partnerships team. He always goes above and beyond to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure the best experience for our partners and developers.”

— Bryant Chou, Co-founder

Make your mark

We seek out new and unique ways to create meaningful impact, and we champion the same from our colleagues. We work as a team to get the job done, and we go out of our way to celebrate and reward those going above and beyond for our customers and our teammates.
Core Behavior Award Winner
Simran Duggal
Senior Manager, Enterprise Sales
“Simran is the first person to raise her hand when someone needs help. She always ensures her team has what they need to succeed and fosters an environment that enables the team to talk about hard things and band together to make a big impact.”

— Linda Tong, Chief Executive Officer

Total rewards

In order to help Webflowers lead impactful, fulfilling lives both in and outside of work, we take benefits seriously.

We do this through competitive salaries, 100% insurance coverage, additional stipends in every check, flex PTO, and more. Plus, we routinely evaluate and iterate on our programs based on employee feedback.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion at Webflow

We want to create an environment where all identities are not only recognized, but celebrated — and where everyone can bring their whole selves to work.

From global distribution and affinity groups to company-wide education and beyond, we strive to embed diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into everything we do.

Remote,
together

We’re remote-first

We believe in creating technology that’s representative of the world we live in. That’s why Webflow is a remote-first company with flexible location and relocation options, a work-from-anywhere policy, and employees around the world. (And because we’ve always been remote-first, we’ll never issue a return-to-office mandate.)

But not remote-only

Our remote-first and global mobility policy supports the best of both worlds: You have all the flexibility of working from home (or anywhere you want), plus opportunities to spend time with your colleagues in person at our SF office and through paid offsites with your team, your department, and the whole company.

Pay zones

Because compensation levels vary within any given country, we have cost of labor-based pay zones for each entity-based country. We do this by assessing the average salary levels for each major metropolitan area and grouping them together with other similar salary levels.
