MindPoint executive Patti Chanthaphone will be a part of the combined company's senior leadership team.

The integration process is well underway for Tyto Athene and its latest acquisition, MindPoint Group.

Tyto Athene closed the deal on June 30. On Tuesday, Tyto announced that MindPoint president Patti Chanthaphone would lead the civil business group as president.

MindPoint brought deeper cybersecurity offerings to Tyto, particularly a managed security operations center that works to monitor customer networks and remediate any incidents.

In Tyto's release on Chanthaphone's appointment, the company noted she will lead Tyto’s federal solutions business and play a role in growth and cyber initiatives.

“In a world where cyber threats are constantly developing, it is essential to continue the development of cutting-edge solutions to strengthen our nation’s security and resilience,” Tyto CEO Dennis Kelly said in a release Tuesday. “As a combined team under Patti’s leadership of our federal civilian group, we will be able to provide a fully integrated cyber solution approach that will deepen our support of our federal customers and help us further expand the business.”

The acquisition of MindPoint followed the April purchase of Microtel, which brought software development capabilities.

Tyto Athene is owned by the private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners.
