The biggest video game launches in the UK according to Chart-Track sales data. All sales figures are for one week, unless specified otherwise.

Grand Theft Auto IV had the biggest launch in the United Kingdom market with nearly 1 million sold in one week. Wii Fit generated £16 million, the third largest in terms of value despite being priced at £70. This translates to an estimated 238,000 units sold, the 6th fastest selling game.[1]

One in three Xbox 360 owners bought Halo 3, an impressive 0.33 software tie ratio, compared to GTA San Andreas' 0.1.
