Empirical Sounds is the title of a new album by Roberto Nieva as a leader, a record that consolidates him as one of the most prominent emerging figures on the international jazz scene.

In this recording, we find a collection of eight pieces of high compositional quality, showing a balance between technical foundations and the creative aspect, where different textures stand out with which this group builds a unique language within the aesthetics of contemporary jazz.

Empirical Sounds es el título de un nuevo trabajo discográfico de Roberto Nieva como líder, un disco que lo consolida como una de las figuras emergentes más destacadas de la escena jazzística internacional.


En esta grabación encontramos un conjunto de ocho piezas de gran calidad compositiva, que muestran un equilibrio entre los fundamentos técnicos y la vertiente creativa, donde destacan diferentes texturas con las que este grupo construye un lenguaje propio que se abre camino dentro de la estética del jazz contemporáneo.


Empirical Sounds es un compendio de viajes, de encuentros, de percepciones, de experiencias vitales, de momentos vividos y de emociones que Roberto Nieva ha transformado en una música profunda, en constante evolución, que nos interpela tema tras tema.
