These days I wait for the sales to stock up on stationery. I love buying from WHSMITH. They have great deals and I particularly like their colourful stationery collections which make special gifts. I buy online and delivery is quick. The only thing I would like improved is… better descriptions of the items particularly where the size is concerned, and also, when I put in key words in order to find what I’m looking for, I don’t always get the items popping up that I’m looking for even when I know they are on the website somewhere.This means that I buy less and give up. Hence the 4stars.

I have used WHSmith many times especially while I was in uni. They have all sorts of nice looking notepads and organisers. I especially enjoy their magazines and books about the royal family and history. I have bought a few of those throughout the years.

I have ordered from WH Smith a number of times, I usually use the click and collect option. However on my last order I chose to use the delivery service. I could track the item at the carriers but the item had not moved for a number of days. I e-mailed whsmith and I received a prompt reply assuring me the items were on their way, The parcel was delivered that same day, so I was very pleased with the service

Amazing life/job saving experience with the lady on the till in Liverpool lime street station Friday morning! I came from Doncaster for a works cruise ship visit to take pix & my fone was dieing, charger not working & a really kind, helpful, patient & professional lady helped me sort what I needed! I Can't thank her enough for today, she went above & beyond to help me get the right charger & pad & is a total credit to WHSmith! The best customer service experience I ever had. My book order (Richard and Judy book bundle) came in it's own box (6 books) and the extra book I ordered came protected with bubble wrap pillows. Seven books in total , packaged with care. 📚 Once you have paid for your items you are kept updated on delivery details.

Went into branch on Cornmarket Oxford looking for plain white envelopes. Asked staff member who was stacking shelves where I could find them and he said WH Smith don't sell them! After remonstrating with him how ridiculous it was that the stationers WH Smith don't sell stationery such as envelopes, I walked out. On the way out I pointed this out to the lady on the till and she took me straight to the shelves with the envelopes!! I really can't think of a good reason to shop at Smiths as there is always a problem.

I always buy files for the office at work from WHSmith as they are good and tend to be cheaper than online office suppliers. They always arrive well packaged and quick and come in a nice range of colours.

In a world of next day delivery WHSmith's don't add up. It took a week to fulfil my book order and then when returning one of the items to store to avoid the P&P as it's not free returns the shop assistant looked blankly at me as if this had never been attempted before, when the website clearly says that this was a recommended return option. Sadly I'll be back ordering from Amazon which I should of done in the first place.

Placed an order and promotion was only applied to part of my order even though it was not written in the T&Cs, I tried calling them and there is nobody to speak to, it’s ridiculous that a company of this size should have no contact other than email.

I've loved Moderno notebooks for years, but the new rebrand has not only got rid of the formats I used to buy, but has also changed some of the elements that made them so great (e.g. the width of the lines / number of dots per page) Really sad that I'm going to have to look elsewhere for notebooks now.
