Sparta Global has won a King's Award for Enterprise – one of just eight companies to be awarded for its excellence in Promoting Opportunity (social mobility)!   The most prestigious business award in the country, the King's Award has credited Sparta Global with delivering an impressive social mobility programme that opens the door for those from disadvantaged backgrounds to explore careers in technology - regardless of background - and with good outcomes in a sector suffering from a significant skills gap.   This award win is recognition of the shared commitment of all Sparta Global employees, clients, and investors, to make a sustained social impact and put purpose above profit. It is also recognition of the determination of our Spartans, with many overcoming significant barriers in society to showcase that the circumstances of someone’s birth or upbringing should never determine or define their outcomes in life. Note to self: there is nothing you cannot do! 🎯 What a surreal experience to be a guest on a podcast that I’ve been listening to since starting my career in insurance. I had the best time recording the episode with Sandra Lewin. We discussed the importance of role models and how my own role models have had a positive impact on my career trajectory. My decision to become more visible as a role model is in no small part thanks to my incredible mentor Mythili Krishnaraj. Her advice and guidance has helped me find the fearlessness I felt when I first decided to pivot into tech (via Sparta Global). It’s worth noting that the “behind the scenes” organising/liaison would have been a lot trickier without Daniel Moore’s support - thank you! 🎧 You can now listen to my episode on the 100 Women in Insurance podcast here: https://lnkd.in/dvuBvSnj 🎀 Looking to connect with amazing women across the insurance industry?
