We were delighted to be in Singapore last week, promoting the role that privacy enhancing technologies (PETs) can play in enabling greater utility of data, whilst preserving privacy. Thank you to the IMDA for hosting the second OECD - OCDE expert workshop on PETs, building off of the success of the first workshop co-hosted by the UK and Estonian government's in London earlier this year. We enjoyed the opportunity to discuss how public and private sector initiatives can be used to foster PET adoption. Thank you also to IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals for giving us a platform to discuss what we are doing to pave the way for the use of PETs as part of Singapore's Personal Data Protection Week 2024.

Today we co-hosted a UK-Estonia-OECD - OCDE Workshop on PETs and AI. We kicked off the day with opening remarks from Felicity Burch, Ott Velsberg and Audrey Plonk. Discussions covered both privacy enhancing technologies themselves, and the implications for policy-makers. Thank you to everyone who attended today and sparked great discussions, and thanks to the representatives from Estonia and OECD - OCDE for co-hosting with us. We're looking forward to the next one in Singapore in July!
