I'd told the team there was no chance we'd win, because we were up against huge, multi-billion dollar companies in the MCV/DEVELOP Awards. But AGAINST ALL ODDS, PressEngine won Service Partner of the Year. Thank you to media, influencers and our clients for everything. I could not be more proud. Phil Collins, Tom Moore, Jane Thompson: Thank you.

Are you heading out to gamescom, and would you like to find out how PressEngine can help your media and influencer outreach? Maybe you want to find out why we're the most accurate tracker of Twitch on the market, or how we can show you every video on YouTube for your products, with valuable insights? Or TikTok. Or other things we're working on. It could be events, our newest feature with over 1,000 media appointment bookings for our first event. If you're going to gamescom, and you want to find out more about how PressEngine helps hundreds of developers, publishers and agencies worldwide, find us on MeetToMatch: https://lnkd.in/ea4aDhKv

So much work has gone into this new feature that's arrived just in time to book your gamescom appoints - on PressEngine.

Wouldn't it be great if someone built event booking for media and influencer events with access to tens of thousands of contacts, or the ability to use your own curated lists? Yeah, we built that for PressEngine, and it's available now on the platform, just in time to book those gamescom appointments. From bespoke events for ten media, to gamescom schedules with hundreds of slots with multiple publications, or a launch event with 400 media & influencers in a single slot; PressEngine does that and more. When developing Events, we had a number of questions to answer: 1. Can we offer more value to our clients within our subscription model? 2. Can we automate and assist clients with faster process and less legwork? 3. Can we make the lives of media and influencers easier? 4. Can we impact discoverability strategies for the smallest indies to the largest international publishers? 5. Can we deliver a unique feature that positively impacts clients & users? Each of these goals have been achieved by our excellent dev team, led by Phil Collins and Tom Moore. Thank you do Josh Winward and Stefano Petrullo for their initial input into the project, and to Wired Productions for their constant support and feedback. If you want to organise your trade shows or bespoke events in 20 minutes, instead of weeks, then please do get in touch with us and request a demo on https://pressengine.net/ or slide into the DMs. P.S. Wait until we show you what else we've been building.

PressEngine is sponsoring the MCV/DEVELOP Awards. We're delighted to support the UK industry, But more than that, we want to support those who need it most. We're reserving space on our table for those recently laid off, because giving them the chance to network and see friends is vital. We're also asking other businesses attending to do the same. Save a couple of seats at your table for those less fortunate, and we can try to make a difference. It might be a small thing to you or your company, but it's a big thing for those individuals.

Proud moment - Getting nominated for our second MCV Award: Development Essentials: Service Partner of the Year. Thanks kindly to MCV/DEVELOP, and for those that nominated us. It's probably the hardest group to win, because it's full of companies like Keywords, Testronic, Quantic Lab and more. What great company to be in. We'd also like to say a huge congratulations to our clients and products that have been promoted with PressEngine - appearing 34 times on the nomination list. See you on the night.

Today, we're delighted to be sponsoring the Debug 2024 Indie Game Awards in Nottingham. You can watch live, and perhaps grab a glimpse of Gareth and Phil via YouTube from 8.30 pm: https://lnkd.in/ex7jqifj We're also proud to be associated with the event due to its support for wonderful iniatives from Safe In Our World and Everyone Can. The work they do around mental health and accessibility is vital. Seeing many of the games promoted with PressEngine nominated brings us so much joy, as one of our founding missions was to enable the smallest indie teams to have the same kind of discovery and awareness as the biggest games. We're still trying to do that, with new features coming online soon that will go even further. It's a big year ahead for us, but today is about celebrating the diverse and wonderful games our industry creates. We wish everyone nominated the best of luck.

Our COO is abseiling off a building today, all in the name of SpecialEffect! You got this Gareth Williams!

My business partner and one of my best friends, Gareth Williams, has a fear of heights. And he won't mind me telling you this, because today he's using his fear for good and raising money for the most awesome SpecialEffect! Gareth will be abseiling off Liverpool Football Club, raising funds for a UK charity that specialises in helping physically disabled people, specifically children, play video games. It's an exceptionally worthwhile cause and I have the utmost admiration and respect for Gareth, for turning his fear around and using it for something positive. If you can help Gareth smash his fundraising target then please click the link below. https://lnkd.in/enp93WEB

We all love Press-E but our supplies are dwindling by now...

Creating the PressEngine mascot Press-E is one of my favourite achievements to date. Growing from an idea to a drawing, to social media content to merch is incredible. It’s even better knowing people love them as much as I do! In fact Press-E is so popular at #Gamescom this year that my colleague Phil Collins has at most 20 badges left and it’s only day 2! So if you want to get your hands on a limited edition Press-E pin badge, you’d better hurry to Hall 3.2, Stand F040 #brandingdesign #Brandmascot #digitalmarketing #consumerjourney #gamesindustry
