We have a long history of partnering with charities working to alleviate food poverty. Our recent sustainability report highlighted just some of the ways we are supporting those in need through our key charity partners. Since 2019, we have partnered with The Felix Project and so far, we have: 📦 Donated over 4 million meals to community organisations and schools 🍜 Helped to chop, cook, and pack surplus food into thousands of warm and nutritious meals Through working with the Company Shop Group, we have: 🍽️ Funded the opening of 5 new shops 👩🍳 Launched Community Shop Family Cook Clubs to promote food education 🎄 Partnered with Marks and Spencer at Christmas to provide 1,500 meal bundles to Community Shop And with School Food Matters, we have supported: 🥕 The Young Marketeers project - teaching primary school children to grow their own vegetables from seeds 🏫 Funded the Healthy Zones project which aims to improve school food menus and tackle health inequalities To learn more about our support for communities and wider sustainability commitments, you can read our full report://https://lnkd.in/dSJ2PrQ6

Another day, another farm visit. But this time with Louise Eccles from the Sunday Times. Frankly, I’ve said no to interviews like this since I started as CEO at Ocado Retail almost a couple of years ago. The most important thing for me has been to focus on our business - on our customers, our people and our suppliers. But this felt the right time to chat to Louise about lots of things we’ve been working on. I don’t think interviews will ever be the favourite part of my role but hopefully this captures my passion for Ocado - and yes, I really am that obsessed with food and all the latest ingredients!
