We’re raising a glass to women in hospitality. 🥂 As part of our Journey to Tomorrow 2030 responsible business plan, we are constantly working to achieve gender and ethnicity balance across our  leadership teams, including within our hotels. One of the ways we have retained and grown female talent within IHG Hotels & Resorts is through the creation of RISE – an initiative programme to empower our female talent in hotel operations to achieve their full potential on their journey to achieve senior leadership roles and progress within IHG. The 12-month RISE programme was launched in Australasia in 2018 to inspire confidence, broaden networks, and drive career progression for women in our hotels and since then, it’s gone global 🌎 with over 247 women graduating to date. We are firmly committed to driving gender and ethnicity balance across our leadership teams, including within our hotels and we recognise that women are still underrepresented at the highest levels of hotel leadership. There’s always more to do.
