Deric Augustine and Patrick Keleher
As it turns out, there will be not one new recruit but two — in the form of Deric Augustine and Patrick Keleher, who have been cast as recurring guests for Season 7.
Augustine, whose TV credits include All American (as Clay), Godfather of Harlem and Shameless, will play Miles, a Texas transfer who despite having two years under his belt, will be a rookie at the LAPD.
Keleher, of Funny or Die’s The Egos, meanwhile will play Seth, who may seem like the ideal police officer, but the job requires quick, decisive action — and that, alas, is something that doesn’t come naturally to him.
Seriously? The Rookie AND Will Trent as “mid season replacements”?? Two of your best show on ABC (now that you got rid of Station 19). Even the Disney president says these are “cornerstones of our schedule” so why leave of hanging until January? It makes no sense.
Did you read the article? They want to give them uninterrupted runs, with none of the usual “two weeks on, three weeks off, here’s a new ep, another two weeks off, oh here’s a Christmas ep in early November, see you after the Superbowl in three months…” shenanigans. Wish more shows would do that.
Season 7? He’s now almost been a cop longer than he was pretending to be a cop on Castle.
Yeah…every rookie cop has to come in with that kind of attitude. NOT.
As long as Chenford can work through their problems, I’ll be happy. I took it as a good sign that she seemed to follow him out of the elevator in the finale, like she wanted to continue their conversation 🙏🙏🤞
That ABC Fall schedule is weak AF!
Your cornerstone will start mid-season? How ridiculous is that? Who watches DWTS? No one I know.
I’ve been watching this show since Day One. Now, my wife and kids are hooked, too. We started with the first episode and have been watching a couple of them as a family every night.
Really disappointed to see it’s going to be a mid-season show. That doesn’t make sense. At least, they’re going to run the episodes without a break.
Can’t say these two new characters sound very interesting, but let’s see how it plays out. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with all the current stories, including Bradford and Chen.
