While originally billed as an “event series,” MacFarlane previously told TVLine that he wasn’t ruling out a second season. “Anything is possible,” he said in January. “I would not want to shoehorn the show into a category as far as its sustainability. I think it depends on the response. If there’s an appetite for it, anything is possible.”
One week after its premiere, NBCUniversal disclosed that Ted launched as Peacock‘s most-watched original title ever through its first three days on the platform. At the time of its release, Peacock had surged to the top of app store popularity ahead of its exclusive NFL Wild Card game, which streamed on Jan. 14 and had an average audience of approximately 23 million viewers across Peacock, NBC stations in Miami and Kansas City, and on mobile (with NFL+).
The family dynamic was nice, but the jokes got to get better. But then again…it is a show about a foul mouth teddy bear and his pot smoking best friend.
I am glad they are doing a season 2 of TED. I love Ted and want to hug and squeeze him. The more Ted the better.
Yes! The more Ted the better.
I’m surprised it took them this long to renew it
I unexpectedly loved this show. Here’s hoping season 2 is twice as long, 7 episodes just wasn’t enough!
Same. Didn’t think I would love it as much as I did. LOL a lot.
8 episodes, but yea i get your point
Yay! Ted is coming back, but where’s The Orville??

Good. The show started finding its footing towards the end. The mother and father where the best characters.
They should change John’s parents names again for season 2
I’d rather have a 4th Year of Seth McFarline’s THE ORVILLE than another season of his fowl-mouthed Teddy Bear!
Fowl-mouthed? He’s not a chicken
I am greedy and want both *shrug*
