Industry’s Yasmin Becomes the Center of a Major Scandal in New Season 3 Trailer — Plus, Get Premiere Date

Industry has set a target date for Season 3, and we are buying in.

HBO‘s high-finance drama will return for its third season on Sunday, Aug. 11 at 9/8c, TVLine has learned. We also have a bunch of photos from the new season, including a first look at Game of Thrones alum Kit Harington as Sir Henry Muck, the head of green tech energy company nearing its IPO. Plus, Barry’s Sarah Goldberg joins the cast as Petra Koenig, a portfolio manager who forms a new partnership with Harper.

The cabler has also released a trailer for the new season (watch it embedded above) which shows Harper striking out on her own, while Eric teaches Robert a thing or two about being “relentless” in business. As for Yas, she has her own image to worry about when she accidentally becomes the center of a huge scandal that hits all of Britain’s press.

Set at a London international bank, Industry follows a group of young bankers as they cope with the intense pressure of high finance with sex, drugs and other forms of release. In Season 3, “as Pierpoint looks to the future and takes a big bet on ethical investing, Yasmin, Robert and Eric find themselves front and center in the splashy IPO of Lumi, a green tech energy company led by Sir Henry Muck (Harington), in a story that runs all the way to the very top of finance, media, and government,” per the official description.

Plus, last season ended with Harper being unceremoniously fired by Pierpoint — read our full finale recap here — and now “Harper is eager to get back into the addictive thrill of finance and finds an unlikely partner in FutureDawn portfolio manager Petra Koenig (Goldberg).”
