Wicked Vale is the extra stage of Rise of the Tomb Raider, added in the Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch DLC.

Story[]
It was the location of a Soviet military project that attempted to produce a biological weapon from a rare hallucinogenic pollen. When its researchers were affected by the pollen's effects, the project was abruptly halted. However, one of the researchers, Serafima, developed an antidote to protect herself, and used the pollen to torment her captors and any intruder in the Vale. She assumed the identity of the mythical witch Baba Yaga there, and decorated a lift for it to look like a mechanical house with legs, while continuing to produce more weaponized pollen within an abandoned Remnants structure.
As her husband Ivan thought that Baba Yaga killed Serafima, he entered the Vale, but only to be stranded there and be injured. At the request by Nadia, Lara Croft later entered the Vale twice to find him, defeated Serafima, and reunited them with their granddaughter.
