Nevada is a western U.S state and one of the many locations visited in the Tomb Raider series. Lara goes to this location to find the Element 115 meteorite artifact.
History[]
In Tomb Raider II: Golden Mask, Lara is experiencing a nightmare set in the city of Las Vegas, featuring a combination of surreal elements such as the presence of the Fiamma Nera, memories of her adventure in Alaska, Tyrannosaurus Rex and even her butler, Winston.
In Tomb Raider III, Lara will explore a hot desert, in search for a way into Area 51 - theoretically, a center dealing with research on extraterrestrial life forms and UFOs. Lara must penetrate every corner in the facility while avoiding military policemen who are all over the area.

- In Tomb Raider III, Nevada is one of three locations you can choose after completing the India levels. However it is best to choose this location first as during the High Security Compound level, all your weapons along with half their ammo and most of your Medi Kits are gone and you don't get all of them back.
- Nevada is the only section in Tomb Raider III that doesn't have a boss.
