Janice

Janice is a character from The Angel of Darkness.

Biography[]

Janice is first seen on a sidewalk in the Parisian Ghetto, standing next to the club, Le Serpent Rouge, while waiting for customers. After a city guide gives Lara Croft a few details on the Monstrum killings including Louis Bouchard, she finds Janice and strikes up a conversation. Janice gives her more information on Bourchard himself and the Le Serpent Rouge as well as two of Bouchard's associates: club bartender Pierre, the owner of the Cafe Metro, and club janitor Bernard. She also reveals of Margot Carvier's murder the previous night.

Personality[]

At first Janice reacts a bit hostile towards Lara, but she quickly turns into a helpful person, when she finds out that Lara's not there to ruin her business but instead, ask for information on the killings.

Her trademark comment is: "Move along Ma chere, you make the place look crowded"

Her best friend is Francine - Pierre's ex.

Whatever happened to Janice is a mystery but it is presumed she is alive and making some money.

Trivia[]

• Janice's overall design is very similar to that of Mace Daniels from Fighting Force, which was also developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive.
