Daniel Rennes was a French businessman from Paris.
Biography[]
Daniel Rennes worked in the French Navy as a demolitions expert. Sometime after his retirement, Rennes decided to become a businessman, specializing in illegal documentation and black marketeering. In order to keep these secret from law enforcement, he opens a a back street pawnshop and uses it as a front.
In 2003, Louis Bouchard gets in contact with him for explosives and weaponry in order to help Werner Von Croy in the latter's work in the archaeological digs beneath the Louvre for Obscura Paintings. Lara Croft meets Rennes and pawns a few items she found during her run. After making a deal with Bouchard, Lara returns to the pawnshop and cross Marten Gunderson only to find him dead with mysterious symbols surrounding his body, yet another victim to "The Monstrum". This is possible Marten Gunderson are murder. And more his Pawn shop are destroyed by bombs.
