Trinity forces with Cult of Kukulkan fought against countless Yaaxil and Paititi Rebels who were assisted by Lara Croft. Trinity's High Council was sent to see the ritual, but they were wiped out by the Yaaxil. Pedro Dominguez started the ritual to reshape the world, but Lara stopped the ritual and killed Dominguez. Then, Dominguez told Lara to protect Paititi.
