Lara Croft visited Angkor Wat in Cambodia as a teenager along with her mentor Werner Von Croy where they found the Iris. She believed Werner to perish there.
Later as an adult she again traveled to Angkor Wat, to find the Magic Stones, believed to be buried with the creator of the temple complex, Suryavarman II.

After Carter Bell went missing, Lara Croft ran through the Jungle Temple to find him, she was unsuccessful.

Lara Croft travel to Khmer Trail, where she found the Tomb of the Dancing Light, and retrieved one of the two halves of the Triangle of Light.

- In one of the first drafts of Tomb Raider story, the second location Lara vists, would have been Cambodia, but it was changed to Greece in final release [1].
- In Lara Croft: Relic Run the loading screen of Temple Ruins was changed from Cambodia to Thailand in version 1.1.0 update, although all ingame references still pointed it to being in Cambodia.
