Anubis is the Egyptian god of mummification and the Afterlife. Anubis is also the son of Set.
In Tomb Raider, Lara picks up the Seal of Anubis and discovers a giant statue of him and Horus beneath a sphinx in the Sanctuary of the Scion. He also appears in the Sanctuary as a giant statue, though he is mistakenly called Osiris.
In the Last Revelation, Anubis can be seen on various walls. The jackals that disguise themselves as statues also seem to resemble Anubis.
