Nasira Faizan of Bialsuf Alsarea, known in the Northern Kingdoms as the Mother of Witches, is the acting court mage of the Zerrikanian Royal Family and the primary mage of the School of the Manticore. She is responsible for recreating the original witcher formulae and allowing for the establishment of the Manticore School alongside the former Viper Iwan.
After the Second Conjunction, Nasira became renowned for single-handedly perfecting the Cat School formulae and later modifying it to give way to the rise of female witchers. Because of this, she was known by the Nordlings as The Mother of Witches.
Personality[]
Driven, emphatic, and ruthlessly intelligent, Nasira Faizan is a mold-breaking woman among mold-breakers. Her loyalty to her people, her country, and her queen are second only to her immeasurable hunger for breaking the limits impressed upon her by the many scientific challenges set before her. Her passion for her work supersedes any and every one of her other desires, though she is certainly not above making room for them. Her diligence is not marred by self-serving arrogance but is instead driven by an earnest desire to expand and perfect her own understanding of the world and how doing so may further benefit Zerrikania, if not humanity as a whole.
Physical Appearance[]
Nasira is a quintessential Zerrikanian beauty. Her skin is dark, described as having a red undertone similar to dark umber. Her hair is thick, dark brown, and usually braided in magnificent coils that wrap around her head to form a large bun, then spill down over her shoulders. In the tradition of Zerrikanian mages and priestesses, Nasira adorns herself, especially her hair, in golden ornaments and her eyes are a themselves a brilliant golden amber. She is tall, notably taller than Imad, but this is considered average height for women in Zerrikania.

Early Life (952-960)[]
Nasira was left at the steps of the Temple of Zerrikanterment as an infant, likely the result of an illicit affair between two conflicting parties. She was raised by the then High Priestess and groomed for most of her life to take her place.
