This is the article's intro. General information about the NPC goes here, with the first mention (and only the first mention) of the NPC in bold. Add defining characteristics, a brief description of its function, and under what circumstances it can be acquired. Also see the common intro guidelines.

For more intricate spawn conditions, it is also possible to use a bullet list with the different criteria, for instance:

There is a vacant house.
The Eye of Cthulhu has been defeated.
It is nighttime.

The last paragraph here should consist of a description of the NPC's self-defense capabilities. Remember to include {{eicons|1.3.0.1}} or {{eversions|1.3.0.1}}.

Living preferences []

This section lists the NPC's preferred biomes and other town NPCs. It solely consists of a single line transcluding {{living preferences}}.

Quotes[]

Interaction quotes[]

List all interaction quotes of the NPC here. Trivia regarding quotes, e.g. references, should be mentioned separately in the Trivia section, not here. Group the quotes by condition and use {{gameText}} (with "<name of <NPC>>", "<name of player>", and "<name of world>" as parameter values for x_<NPC name>, x_PlayerName, and x_WorldName, respectively), as follows:

During the day:

"Greetings, <name of player>. Is there something I can help you with?"

When Tavernkeep is present:

"<name of Angler> wants YOU as the official <name of world> errand monkey!"

During a Party:

"I thought I would throw a party to celebrate our victories in the past and those yet to come."
