Coin Luck is a component of luck gained by throwing coins into Shimmer.

When coins are thrown into Shimmer, they will be consumed, and all players within a radius of 62.5 tiles centered on the consumed coins' location will receive the respective amount of the Coin Luck counter based on coins consumed.

The Coin Luck counter has a maximum cap of 1,000,000. The value of the coin dictates the increase of the counter, with a Copper Coin equating to an increase of 1. Consuming a Platinum Coin hence maximises the counter. The Coin Luck counter will decrease by 0.01% per tick (~30.2% per minute), and is immediately set to 0 if below 0.25.

Based on the player's remaining Coin Luck counter, they will gain a luck boost. The exact value of luck gained can be seen in the table below.

Throwing 1, 1, 1 or 1 in Shimmer will provide +0.2 (max), +0.15, +0.1, or +0.05 Coin Luck respectively for ~3m 50s. The Coin Luck counter goes down by 90% (x0.1) every ~6m 23s.
