Good mechanics and very interesting build diversity. Shame half the bossfights are terrible and they reuse the same 6 enemies throughout the entire campaign. When it's good it's great, but the good moments are few and far between.

The most 5.5/10 game I've ever played. Get it on heavy sale and it's pretty worth, otherwise just play Dark Souls 3 or Elden Ring.

i bought this game because i didnt like dark souls 3 and i wanted something that would help me get used to soulslikes. upon playing this, i realized dark souls 3 was pretty good actually.

+ one of the rare colorful soulslikes ( not one of the standart grey and dark, drab worlds)
+ many satisfying curves.
+ very easy soulslike thanks to npc companion killing everything for you, healing you and constantly nagging your ears off. ( similar to dragon's dogma) (you can disable it and go solo but I die instantly when it dies so im good)
+ very cool, badass animations and designs.
+- parry is hard but when it connects it is satisfying.
- mandatory slow-walking dream sequences is a affront to human rights. (you can skip them if you don't want lore)
- story's beginning never explained (it seems it is connected to god eater series so you don't get to understand everything when game ends.)
