This has been one of my all time favorites. The reason why? In one word: lightsabers. The game is highly customizable in that regard. Unlike Jedi Outcast, where you were stuck with whatever was available, you can make saber files using ANY saber hilt model you want, even ones from sites with game mods!! You want an original trilogy hilt? No problem. Prequel trilogy hilt? No problem.

This is by far, the best you will ever get for lightsaber combat. It's on the old Quake 3 Engine so it has all that speed of movement you get from a quake game but also a game that really brought in communities. There's a couple mods that let you play MP that you should download, I recommend going to JKHub and reading up on them. There's still a lot of online presence on this game, albeit mostly in Europe but that's alright because they keep the game active. This Aspyr remake is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and won't even let you host your own lobbies without force powers. If you care about lightsaber combat, and you're tired of the garbage that SW Battlefront 2 (new gen) gives you in their hero battle ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, take my word for it. Heck, there's even a group called JOF which stands for Jedi of Freedom and if you add a .eu to the end of that name, they have a complete working version of the game that you can play, for free, with all of their QOL enhancements. Play the game, enjoy the combat, and make some friends. See ya in there.
