This is a quite engaging RTS, notable for the fact that victory through military might is not the main focus, but just one of the many ways to win. It essentially makes it like 4DX, but still a real-time strategy game with an emphasis on balanced development.

You will need to pay equal attention to food and resources, defense, happiness, and financial well-being, choosing a well-considered and correct development strategy while taking into account the characteristics of your clan.

The clans in the game are quite diverse. Although their buildings often differ only slightly (with paid clans being an exception), their playstyles vary significantly! The Raven clan excels in trade (there is a trade victory condition). The Deer clan is balanced and suitable for beginners. The Goat clan has plenty of food, while the Bear clan has an additional military unit (a bear, surprisingly), and so on.

Overall, the game is highly replayable, not demanding on hardware, and especially shines in PvP with other players. Therefore, for those who love strategy games and for some reason haven't tried it yet - I highly recommend it.

I've given this game a chance many times and always enjoy the initial experience, but eventually get fed up with it for one key reason: if you want a decent single player experience beyond the story campaign, forget about it, the AI just cheats and makes all games a slog as they rush you with large armies that would you would be unable to maintain yourself, and it's even more imposing and impossible if you're being fought on from two or more fronts, from multiple clans + invading wild mobs.

The slow buildup of resources you need to survive puts you at severe risk of being unable to survive assaults as you need your people busy working the fields and gathering wood so you can expand to a point you can maintain an army. Every time you want to switch an army unit back to a worker you're losing the copper you spent to make them into warriors, meaning you may not have enough to convert them back when you get rushed and need troops quickly. It doesn't make sense, does the warriors gear just vanish? Why don't the other types of worker have their equipment vanish too? Make it make sense.

Whilst i only bought it because it was on sale ,
Honestly got my monies worth , Had a blast playing it and will continue to do so.
Loving the achievement hunt at the moment and will probably get into some ranked ?
It's a decent game .
