Hallo !
My name is Ricky Paul. I am 70 yrs old now, and have followed and been playing C&C games for just about the past 3 decades, when the Game was first released in 1995 !

The latest series RED ALERT 2 & YURI's REVENGE are the primary ones i play regularly over the past 2 decades and am still faithfully attending to, as these have become my sole computer game.

Despite the massive development in the computer game industry over the past 3 decades, during which i tried a few during my earlier years, I found RA2 & YR as the best games which always remain exciting, entertaining, and challenging, every new cycle of the games played !!!

The exceptional feature of RA2 & YR is the diversity of battles and landscape in each War, with graphics which are very realistic with commanding 3-D and sound effects with logical time and space algorithms, creating a very realistic War Gaming that brings to life the entire adventure, which is always freshly renewed in every series the play is repeated !!!

It is truly a marvel of the fantastic TEAM Developer at C&C, of their brillance, to bear in mind that C&C had been developed 3 DECADES ago, in such an advanced development, in the early days of the computer gaming industry, notably when then available gaming was more in the nature of simplistic "Super Mario".

Yet, RA2 & YR are still as exciting and interesting and entertaining, time and again, TODAY, and i am convinced, will continue to fascinate computer gamers in the decades to come, regardless of how the computer gaming industry develops !!!


GAME FEATURES:


1. Pace of Battle / Game
The pace of each battle and the mouse scroll speed are adjustable, an excellent help to the un-initiated, and even the hectic seasoned Player.


2. Battle Teams & Assets (Capabilities)
C&C has superbly planned the collection of varied Battle Teams, each fairly endowed with Troop and Military assets peculiar to its purported Game Country of Origin. However, the Player must realise that these given assets and their capabilities are deliberately placed to provide strategic and tactical deployment which will win the battle.
This is a significant configuration which makes RA2 & YR ever refreshing no matter how many times the Player has won or lost that battle !!!

[Player must be alert and learn - through repeat plays - to wisely build and effectively deploy each Troop and Vehicular asset, especially during the initial vulnerable Defensive buildup to the final Offensive to win the battle. This is KEY !!!]


3. Detailed Battleground Map
Each Battle Map has been ingeniously designed to provide Player & Opponents for tactical deployments and engagements.

[Woe to the Player who fights blindly without understanding the Terrain Map in DETAIL !
RA2 & YR are Games of Strategy and Tactical play ... not just shooting and shooting ]


4. Conventional & Nuclear Warfare
The War & battles can also be played with Nuclear capabilities, bringing a new dimension to the Game.

[WOW !! This is really the intense Final for the Player, as you can be assured of exhaustion and satisfaction when you have finally vanquished your opponents, whilst under nuclear bombardment !!!]
