Princess Leia and her Rebel Alliance allies were not the only ones to defy galactic-wide Imperial rule. Bo-Katan Kryze was an accomplished, respected warrior who hailed from Mandalore. When the Empire turned its attention to her origin point and proceeded to occupy this world, Bo-Katan would find this arrangement untenable. She defied Palpatine's authority and wielded the legendary Darksaber, effectively becoming leader of the Mandalore opposition.
