Jedi-gone-awry Barriss Offee was a curious paradox: as Padawan to Luminara Unduli, she preferred the higher path of book-learning to war activities, spending much of her time studying ancient texts in the Jedi Temple. However, this otherwise noble preoccupation led her down an unexpected dark path, with Offee eventually betraying her allies and committing terrible acts.
