Early Friday morning, the Colorado State football team will begin fall camp under third-year head coach Jay Norvell to prepare for the 2024 season, which opens Aug. 31 on the road at Texas. CSU is coming off a 5-7 season in which the Rams missed playing in a bowl game by just a few points, as they lost their season finale at Hawaii, 27-24, and fell short of the six-win bowl eligibility target. After their season opener in Austin, the Rams will return home for three straight contests at Canvas Stadium, including the highly anticipated Rocky Mountain Showdown against CU, before beginning Mountain West Conference play.
